Message From The Principal
At Don Bosco School we consider each child to be a special member of our school community, each of them having something to offer whether it be a friendly smile, sporting abilities or academic abilities. We value each child for their own individual qualities.
At Don Bosco we uphold the values of Jesus and encourage our children to be peacemakers. We teach Religious Education through a P - 6 program, have school and class Liturgies, and encourage all students to receive the sacraments through the Parish based Sacramental Program. We work closely with our parish of Our lady Help of Christians to ensure that all people in our community have a positive relationship with ourselves and our church.
We provide a Catholic Education which encourages each person in our community to act and learn to the best of their ability. We encourage a strong sense of self worth which is based on the rights of all people in our community to live and learn in a safe and comfortable environment. The staff at Don Bosco will work closely with you to ensure that your children achieve the best possible results in their time with us. We strongly believe that families are the first educators of the children and therefore welcome parents into our school at any time. In learning, we cater for individual needs and believe that each child can learn given the right opportunity and time. We offer programs such as Reading Recovery, ClaSS, PMP, Life Education and Bike Education, Swimming and Interschool Sports. We have specialist teachers in Music, Japanese, Physical Education, Literacy, Mathematics, Library and Student Welfare.
Don Bosco School is a friendly, caring and safe environment where everyone is made welcome.
