Parents & Friends

Don Bosco Parents and Friends is an active group of  parents who meet on a formal basis each month on the 2nd Thursday of the month.

The role of the parents & Friends is as a fund raising group and this role is fulfilled extremely well. Monies raised by this group are allocated to areas of need across the school. Some areas which have benefited from the fundraising are;

• computers
• library books and take home books
• adventure playgrounds
• shade sails

 Currently the committee are waiting for an improvement in weather to consider re-surfacing the oval.

While the formal meetings are held monthly many of the parents meet on an informal basis for coffee & chat while organizing the current activities. These times are a great opportunity for meeting other parents and forming strong friendship bonds. Everyone is welcome.
